Kicking Off the Welcome Reception in High Gearwith Craig Richmond, President & CEO, Vancouver Airport Authority

A key link in the multimodal supply chain will be featured at the Welcome Reception at this year’s event.

The CLC18 Welcome Reception keynote remarks will be made by Craig Richmond, President & CEO of Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR) – the driving force behind an award-winning airport with his strong aviation background spanning diverse roles, which include serving at home and abroad as a pilot for the Royal Canadian Air Force, over a decade of pivotal operational roles at YVR and positions with Vantage Airport Group as CEO of six airports in three countries.

Since rejoining YVR as President & CEO in 2013, Mr. Richmond has overseen the airport’s vision to become a world-class sustainable connecting hub that links Asia to the Americas. Under Mr. Richmond’s leadership, YVR has grown at one of the fastest rates in Canada—having welcomed a record 22.3 million passengers in 2016 and $10 billion in cargo at Canada’s second largest airport.

Vancouver Airport Authority is a founding supporter of Cargo Logistics Canada Expo + Conference and was consultative on the show’s initial strategy, including the need for a truly multimodal show that brings air, sea, surface cargo supply chains together to discuss, buy, sell, and learn from each other for two and a half days.

Stellar Keynote featuring Lucia Pinheiro, President, DAMCO Canada

Lucia Pinheiro, President of Damco Canada, will be a featured lunch keynote speaker at the 5th Cargo Logistics Canada Expo + Conference in Vancouver Feb 6-8, 2018.  Damco is one of the world’s largest providers of freight forwarding and supply chain management services.

Ms. Pinheiro will participate in CLC’s popular fireside-chat-style keynote format and will be interviewed on stage by industry expert, and former Nike Logistics Director, Barry Horowitz.

Prior to returning to Canada in 2013, Ms. Pinheiro had been living abroad in Asia and the Middle East while continuing her work in logistics and transportation where she was involved with the retail, automotive, high tech and government and defence sectors.

Ms. Pinheiro graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BA in Finance and Economics and completed her MBA with California State University.  She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Transportation Club.
